Move Over Macy's

I don’t know if anyone has noticed, but JC Penney’s is becoming the new Macy’s. over the past year I’ve been plenty disappointed at the clothes in Macy’s junior section. They’re filled with unflattering over-sized sweaters, dull colors, and clothes with elements missing, and that hippie hobo look. The flowery skirts are cute, but I wouldn’t wear them outside of Halloween. I ended up getting the majority of my winter wardrobe from JCP. And the styles in their recent commercials are defiantly a step up. Macy’s watch out!

On another note, I’m doing the NY Aids Walk. I’ve done it every year with my sorors for 3 years now. It’s a great experience and thousands upon thousands of people come out for the event. I do a long 4-hour walk around Central Park. If you’d like to donate, click here or on the logo on the side.

If you are more interested in a non-profit org for babies, then I’m also doing March of Dimes for the first year. It's 3 miles at Orchard Beach in the Bronx. The money raised for March of Dimes provides support and education to mothers and babies in communities all over the U.S. They also do research offering preventions and solutions for babies born too soon or with birth defects and health insurance to all pregnant women and babies. All babies should be born healthy.
